Privacy Policy

Saabrown Limited, trading as “SaaBrown” (“we,” “us,” “our”), of 2 Amoonakwa Rd, Timber Market, Accra, Ghana, is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy. It covers data collected through our product catalog, quote-request and bulk BOQ-upload forms, quote cart, and our WhatsApp chat button.

This policy is provided to give you a clear, general understanding of our data practices. It is for informational purposes and isn’t a substitute for independent legal advice.

We collect only what is needed to respond to your enquiries:

• Contact and identity details you provide via our quote and bulk-quote forms — name, phone number, email address and company name where given.
• Business details you share in a trade account application, such as your role, company TIN and preferred payment terms.
• A business contact’s name, phone and email when you refer them to us. You confirm they are happy to be contacted, and we use these details only to introduce ourselves.
• The contents of your quote cart at the time you submit a request.
• Files you upload, such as photos, drawings or a Bill of Quantities.
• Standard technical data collected automatically, such as browser/device type, IP address and the pages you visit.
• Your phone number and message content when you start a conversation through our WhatsApp Business chat button.

We do not collect account or login data, since this website has no user accounts.

We use the information above only to:

• Respond to your quote request with pricing and availability.
• Follow up on bulk or Bill of Quantities submissions.
• Arrange delivery or collection once an order is agreed offline.
• Maintain and improve our catalog and website.
• Send occasional product updates, but only where you have opted in to receive them.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent when you submit a form or upload a file, our legitimate business interest in responding to your enquiry, and our obligation to comply with applicable Ghanaian law, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

Photos, drawings and Bill of Quantities files you upload are used only to prepare an accurate quote. They are stored securely, accessible only to the staff preparing your quote, and are never made publicly visible. Uploaded files are retained in line with the retention practice described below.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. To operate our service, we share limited data with:

• WhatsApp Business (Meta Platforms), when you message us via our WhatsApp chat button, or use the chat window on this site — that chat is delivered to our sales team over WhatsApp, so your name, phone number and the messages you send pass through Meta and are governed by Meta’s own privacy policy.
• Our email and website-hosting providers, who process form submissions and site traffic on our behalf.

The chat window on this site asks for your name and phone number so our sales team knows who they are replying to. Messages are held on our server for up to 7 days so the conversation survives a page refresh, and are relayed to our team’s WhatsApp numbers to be answered. A reference for the conversation is kept in your browser so you see replies when you come back. Photos and PDFs you attach in chat are handled the same way as other uploads. Do not send payment card details or other sensitive data through chat.

We use only essential cookies or local storage needed to keep your quote cart contents, saved lists, recently viewed products and the last 10 quote requests you sent between visits. That record stays in your browser on your device — you can delete it any time from My Activity. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

To understand which pages and products are useful, we use Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page visits without cookies and does not track you across other websites.

We retain quote and bulk-quote data, including uploaded files, only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and complete any resulting order, after which it is periodically deleted or archived. You may request earlier deletion at any time — see “Your Data Protection Rights” below.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including secure hosting, restricted staff access and encrypted transmission (HTTPS).

As part of standard cloud service delivery, our hosting, email and WhatsApp infrastructure providers may process data outside Ghana. Where this happens, we expect appropriate safeguards to be in place.

Under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with Ghana’s Data Protection Commission if you believe your rights have not been respected.

Our website is intended for business and trade use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we will promptly delete any such data we discover.

We do not currently operate a newsletter or promotional mailing list. If your contact details are ever used for promotional follow-up in the future, you can opt out at any time by emailing or messaging us — we will honor your request promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change accordingly.
